การปฏิวัติยุคหินใหม่ หรือ การปฏิวัติเกษตรกรรมครั้งที่หนึ่ง เป็นการเปลี่ยนผ่านอย่างกว้างขวางของวัฒนธรรมมนุษย์ในยุคหินใหม่จากสังคมคนเก็บของป่าล่าสัตว์ (สังคมแบบยังชีพ) สู่สังคมเกษตรกรรม และสังคมเมือง ทำให้มีการเพิ่มขึ้นของจำนวนประชากร การเปลี่ยนผ่านดังกล่าวทำให้มนุษย์มีโอกาสสังเกตและทดลองพันธุ์พืช นำไปสู่ความรู้ในการปรับปรุงไม้ป่าเป็นไม้เลี้ยง แนวคิดการปฏิวัติยุคหินใหม่นี้คิดค้นโดย วี. กอร์ดอน ไชลด์ นักโบราณคดีชาวออสเตรเลียในหนังสือ Man Makes Himself
