ชีววิทยาของเซลล์

ชีววิทยาของเซลล์ หรือ วิทยาเซลล์ (อังกฤษ: cell biology หรือ cytology) เป็นวิชาที่ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับเซลล์ ทั้งในด้านคุณสมบัติทางสรีรวิทยา, โครงสร้าง, ออร์แกเนลล์ที่อยู่ภายใน, ปฏิสัมพันธ์กับสิ่งแวดล้อม, วัฎจักรเซลล์, การแบ่งเซลล์, และการตายของเซลล์ [หรืออะพอพโทซิส (apoptosis)] การศึกษาคุณสมบัติของเซลล์ดังกล่าวเป็นการศึกษาในระดับจุลทรรศน์และระดับโมเลกุล การวิจัยในทางชีววิทยาของเซลล์นั้นกว้างขวางและหลากหลายมากตั้งแต่ในสิ่งมีชีวิตเซลล์เดียวอย่างแบคทีเรียไปจนถึงเซลล์ที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างมากมายในสิ่งมีชีวิตหลายเซลล์ เช่นในมนุษย์
