กลุ่มอาการเนโฟรติก

กลุ่มอาการเนโฟรติกคือกลุ่มกว้างๆ ของโรคไตอย่างหนึ่ง ผู้ป่วยจะมีความผิดปกติของการทำงานของไตทำให้มีการสูญเสียโปรตีนในเลือดปริมาณมากไปกับปัสสาวะ ทำให้มีภาวะโปรตีน ชนิดที่เรียกว่า อัลบูมิน ในเลือดต่ำ และบวม

โรคที่ทำให้เกิดกลุ่มอาการเนโฟรติกมีหลายอย่าง ที่สำคัญได้แก่ minimal-change nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis และ membranous nephropathy นอกจากนี้ยังอาจเกิดจากโรคอื่นๆ ที่ไม่ได้มีผลต่อไตอย่างเดียว อีกหลายโรค เช่น ที่พบในเบาหวาน อะไมลอยโดซิส และลูปัส อีริธีมาโตซัส เป็นต้น

กลุ่มอาการเนโฟรติกพบได้ในผู้ป่วยทุกช่วงอายุ ทุกเพศ และทุกเชื้อชาติ อาจเกิดเดี่ยวๆ หรือเกิดร่วมกับกลุ่มอาการไตอักเสบ ซึ่งมีการอักเสบของโกลเมอรูลัส ทำให้มีเลือดออกมากับปัสสาวะและการทำงานของไตเสื่อมลงได้
