กลุ่มภาษากูกี-ชีน

กลุ่มภาษากูกี-ชีน (Kuki-Chin languages) หรือ กลุ่มภาษากูกิช (Kukish languages) เป็นสาขาย่อยของกลุ่มภาษาทิเบต-พม่า ใช้พูดทางตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของอินเดีย พม่าตะวันตก และบังกลาเทศตะวันออก ผู้พูดภาษาในกลุ่มนี้ในภาษาอัสสัมเรียกว่าชาวกูกี ในภาษาพม่าเรียกว่าชาวชีน และบางส่วนเรียกตนเองว่าชาวนาคา ในขณะที่ชาวมีโซแยกเป็นอีกกลุ่มต่างหาก ภาษาของพวกเขาคือภาษามีโซ มีการศึกษาถึงระดับมหาวิทยาลัยที่มหาวิทยาลัยมิโซรัม
