คาลิด

คาลิด ดอนเนล โรบินสัน (อังกฤษ: Khalid Donnel Robinson) (เกิด 11 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2541) เป็นนักร้องและนักแต่งเพลงชาวอเมริกัน คาลิดได้เซ็นสัญญากับ Right Hand Music Group และ อาร์ซีเอเรเคิดส์ ซึ่งได้ปล่อยซิงเกิลแรก Location ออกมาในเดือน กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2559 และติดอันดับสูงสุดเป็นอันดับที่ 16 บน บิลบอร์ดฮอต 100 ของสหรัฐอเมริกา และได้รับใบรับรองระดับ Quadruple platinum ที่ออกโดย สมาคมผู้ประกอบกิจการเพลงของสหรัฐอเมริกา (RIAA) อีกด้วย สตูดิโออัลบั้มแรกของเขาในชื่อ American Teen ถูกปล่อยออกมาในวันที่ 3 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2560 และเป็นผลให้เขามีเพลงที่ติดอันดับท็อป 10 หลายเพลง และได้ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลแกรมมีถึง 5 รางวัล

ชีวิตช่วงแรก

คาลิด โรบินสัน เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 11 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2541 ณ ฟอร์ต สจ๊วต รัฐจอร์เจีย สหรัฐอเมริกา เขาใช้ชีวิตวัยเด็กในหลายสถานที่รวมไปถึง ฟอร์ต แคมป์เบลล์ รัฐเคนทักกี ฟอร์ต ดรัม นิวยอร์ก และอยู่ใน ไฮเดิลแบร์ค เยอรมนี ด้วยกันถึง 6 ปี เนื่องจากแม่ของคาลิด Linda Wolfe มีอาชีพอยู่ในกองทัพซึ่งทำงานเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่เทคนิค และได้กลายมาเป็นสมาชิกวงคอรัสของกองทัพอีกด้วย ในสมัยมัธยมปลาย คาลิดได้เลือกเรียนร้องเพลงและแสดงละครเวที และเมื่อถึงมัธยมปีที่ 5 ครอบครัวของเขาก็ได้ย้ายไปอาศัยอยู่ที่ เอลแพโซ (รัฐเท็กซัส)
