จิตภาพแบบปู หรือที่เรียกว่า ทฤษฎีปู จิตภาพแบบปูในถัง (ตะกร้า หรือ หม้อ) และ ปรากฏการณ์ปู-ถัง คือวิธีคิดแบบหนึ่งซึ่งอธิบายได้ดีที่สุดด้วยวลี "ถ้าฉันไม่ได้ แกก็ต้องไม่ได้" ภาพพจน์ดังกล่าวได้มาจากการสังเกตรูปแบบพฤติกรรมของปูเมื่อถูกขังในถัง ในขณะที่ปูตัวใดตัวหนึ่งสามารถปีนหนีออกจากถังได้อย่างง่ายดาย ความพยายามของมันจะถูกปูตัวอื่น ๆ ขัดขวาง นำไปสู่จุดจบของปูทั้งถัง

จิตภาพแบบปูมีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการทำงานในองค์กรเมื่อมนุษย์แสดงพฤติกรรมคล้ายคลึงกับปูโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งภายในทีมทางสังคม ผลกระทบของจิตภาพแบบปูต่อประสิทธิภาพการทำงานได้รับการพรรณนาเชิงปริมาณในงานวิจัยฉบับหนึ่งจากนิวซีแลนด์ใน พ.ศ. 2558 ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าผลการสอบเฉลี่ยของนักเรียนดีขึ้นถึงร้อยละ 18 เมื่อมีการเผยแพร่อันดับผลการเรียนในลักษณะที่ป้องกันไม่ให้นักเรียนแต่ละคนรู้อันดับของนักเรียนคนอื่น
