พุดโกเมน (ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ : Rothmannia longiflora ) เป็นพืชในสกุลสะแล่งหอมไก๋ มีถิ่นกำเนิดในทวีปแอฟริกา นิยมปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับ ชาวพื้นเมืองแอฟริกาใช้พืชชนิดนี้เป็นสมุนไพรลดไข้และระงับปวด ส่วนผลและเมล็ดนำมาทำเป็นสีย้อมและสีผสมอาหาร
ลักษณะทางพฤกษศาสตร์ พุดโกเมนเป็นไม้พุ่มหรือไม้ต้นสูงได้ถึง 10 เมตร ใบรูปรียาว 6-18 เซนติเมตร ปลายแหลมยาว โคนรูปลิ่ม ก้านใบยาว 0.3-1 เซนติเมตร เส้นแขนงใบข้างละ 4-5 เส้น ดอกออกเดี่ยว ๆ ที่ปลายกิ่งสั้นด้านข้าง ก้านดอกยาวได้ถึง 1 เซนติเมตร ใบประดับย่อยคล้ายเกล็ด 5-9 อัน หลอดกลีบเลี้ยงยาว 1-2 เซนติเมตร ดอกรูปแตรสีม่วงอมแดง มีปื้นสีเขียวด้านนอก ด้านในสีขาวมีจุดสีม่วงกระจาย หลอดกลีบดอกยาวได้ถึง 20 เซนติเมตร กลีบรูปไข่แกมรูปขอบขนานยาว 1-4 เซนติเมตร เกสรเพศผู้ติดบนปากหลอดกลีบดอก ก้านเกสรเพศเมียยาว 12-20 เซนติเมตร ยอดเกสรจัก 2 พู รูปกระบอง ยาวได้ถึง 3 เซนติเมตร ยื่นพ้นปากหลอดกลีบดอกเล็กน้อย ผลรูปรีกว้างยาว 3.5-7 เซนติเมตร มีสันตื้น ๆ 10 สัน สามารถรับประทานได้ ภายในมีเมล็ดแบน เส้นผ่านศูนย์กลาง 6-8 มิลลิเมตร
