มู แท่นบูชา (μ Ara, μ Arae) หรือที่มักเรียกตามการกำหนดใน Henry Draper Catalogue ว่า HD 160691 เป็นดาวฤกษ์ในแถบลำดับหลักประเภทดาวแคระเหลือง อยู่ห่างจากโลกประมาณ 50 ปีแสง โดยอยู่ในกลุ่มดาวแท่นบูชา ดาวดวงนี้มีระบบดาวเคราะห์ซึ่งเท่าที่ทราบในปัจจุบันมีทั้งหมด 4 ดวง ในจำนวนนี้ 3 ดวงมีมวลเทียบเท่าดาวพฤหัสบดี ดาวเคราะห์ดวงที่อยู่ด้านในสุดของระบบเป็น "ดาวเนปจูนร้อน หรือ ซูเปอร์เอิร์ธ" ดวงแรกที่ถูกค้นพบ
