ดอกเบี้ย

ดอกเบี้ย (อังกฤษ: Interest) คือเงินที่ได้รับเพิ่มขึ้นจากการลงทุนโดยการคำนวณเป็นอัตราร้อยละต่อปี ในทางเศรษฐศาสตร์ ดอกเบี้ยเป็นเครื่องควบคุมอัตราเงินเฟ้ออีกด้วย คือ เมื่อใดที่เกิดอัตราเงินเฟ้อขึ้น แสดงว่า มีปริมาณเงินในตลาด(หมายถึงเงินในมือประชาชน)จำนวนมาก และสินค้าจะราคาแพงขึ้น การขึ้นดอกเบี้ยทั้งเงินฝากและเงินกู้ ทำให้เงินได้ออกจากตลาดไป ปริมาณเงินจะลดลง เงินเฟ้อก็จะลดลง

สูตรการคำนวณดอกเบี้ย

เมื่อ A คือเงินรวมที่ได้รับ P คือเงินต้น r คืออัตราดอกเบี้ยต่อช่วงเวลา และ n คือจำนวนของระยะช่วงเวลา
