พรรคแรงงานเกาหลี

พรรคแรงงานแห่งเกาหลี เป็นพรรคผู้ก่อตั้งและพรรคการเมืองที่ปกครองสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนเกาหลี พรรคแรงงานเป็นพรรครัฐบาลพรรคเดียวของเกาหลีเหนือ แม้มีอีกสองพรรคซึ่งประกอบเป็นแนวร่วมประชาธิปไตยเพื่อการกลับรวมปิตุภูมิ ก่อตั้งในปี พ.ศ. 2492 โดยการรวมพรรคแรงงานเกาหลีเหนือและพรรคแรงงานเกาหลีใต้ ความหมายของสัญลักษณ์นั้นแปลงมาจากสัญลักษณ์ของคอมมิวนิสต์แบบดั้งเดิม โดยมาเป็นในแบบของพรรคแรงงาน คือ ค้อน หมายถึง แรงงาน , พู่กัน หมายถึง ปัญญาชน และ เคียว หมายถึง ชาวนา
