วิตถันดร หรือ ละติจูด (อังกฤษ: latitude) หรือเดิมเรียกว่า เส้นรุ้ง แทนด้วยอักษรกรีก φ เป็นพิกัดที่ใช้บอกตำแหน่งบนพื้นโลกและแบ่งเขตสภาวะอากาศโดยวัดจากเส้นศูนย์สูตร พิกัดที่ใช้คู่กัน คือ ลองจิจูด ละติจูดมีลักษณะเป็นเส้นขนานไปกับเส้นศูนย์สูตร พื้นที่ที่มีพิกัดละติจูดต่างกัน จะมีภูมิอากาศ (climate) และสภาพอากาศ (weather) ต่างกัน
เส้นละติจูด เป็นเส้นสมมติที่วางตามแนวนอนของโลก และยังมีเส้นที่วางตัวตามแนวนอนของโลกตามระดับความสูงกว่าหรือต่ำกว่า ซึ่งเรียกว่า เส้นขนานเส้นละติจูด (Parallels of Latitude) ซึ่งเส้นขนานของเส้นละติจูดเหล่านี้จะเป็นเส้นที่วางขนานกับเส้นละติจูดที่อยู่บริเวณตรงกลางหรือเรียกว่าเส้น อิเควเตอร์ (Equator) ละติจูดมีค่าตั้งแต่ 0 องศาที่เส้นศูนย์สูตร ไปจนถึง 90 องศาที่บริเวณขั้วโลก (นับเป็น 90 องศาเหนือหรือใต้) เนื่องจากเป็นการวัดมุมจากจุดสมมติที่เส้นศูนย์สูตรไปยังจุดขั้วโลกที่ 90 องศา
