ในการศึกษาฟิสิกส์อนุภาค , ฟิสิกส์นิวเคลียร์ และวิศวกรรมนิวเคลียร์ทั้งในเชิงทดลองและประยุกต์ เครื่องตรวจจับอนุภาค (อังกฤษ : particle detector ; หรือรู้จักในชื่อ เครื่องตรวจจับการแผ่รังสี (radiation detector)) คือเครื่องมือที่ใช้สำหรับตรวจจับ ติดตาม หรือแยกแยะอนุภาค พลังงานสูง เช่นอนุภาคที่เกิดจากการสลายตัวของสารกัมมันตรังสี การแผ่รังสีคอสมิก หรือปฏิกิริยาที่เกิดในเครื่องเร่งอนุภาค เป็นต้น เครื่องตรวจจับสมัยใหม่ยังสามารถใช้เป็นแคลอรีมิเตอร์เพื่อตรวจวัดพลังงานของรังสีที่ตรวจจับได้ ทั้งยังอาจใช้เพื่อตรวจวัดคุณสมบัติอื่นๆ ของอนุภาคด้วย เช่น โมเมนตัม สปิน ประจุ ฯลฯ
