เพนไนนส์

เพนไนนส์ (อังกฤษ: Pennines) เป็นทิวเขาและเนินเขาในประเทศอังกฤษ ซึ่งแยกภูมิภาคนอร์ทเวสต์อิงแลนด์ออกจากภูมิภาคยอร์กเชอร์และฮัมเบอร์และนอร์ทอีสต์อิงแลนด์ มักถูกเรียกว่าเป็น "กระดูกสันหลังของอังกฤษ" พื้นที่แห่งนี้ได้รับการกล่าวขานว่าเป็นหนึ่งในพื้นที่ที่มีทัศนียภาพงดงามที่สุดของสหราชอาณาจักร บริเวณตอนเหนือของภูมิภาคนี้ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นเขตธรรมชาติงดงามดีเด่น (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) ภูมิภาคนี้ยังเป็นที่ตั้งของเส้นทางเดินเท้าเพนไนน์ (Pennine Way) ซึ่งมีความยาวประมาณ 429 กิโลเมตร ถือเป็นเส้นทางเดินเท้าที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในเกาะบริเตน
