เฟรเดอริก ซอดดี
เฟรเดอริค ซอดดี (อังกฤษ: Frederick Soddy; 2 กันยายน ค.ศ. 1877 – 22 กันยายน ค.ศ. 1956) เป็นนักเคมีชาวอังกฤษ และนักเศรษฐศาสตร์การเงินที่ทำงานร่วมกับเออร์เนสต์ รัทเทอร์ฟอร์ด ในการอธิบายว่า การสลายตัวของสารกัมมันตรังสีนั้นเป็นผลมาจากการแปรนิวเคลียสของธาตุ ซึ่งปัจจุบันเรารู้จักกันในฐานะปฏิกิริยานิวเคลียร์ เขายังพิสูจน์ถึงการมีอยู่ของไอโซโทปของธาตุกัมมันตรังสีจำนวนหนึ่ง ซอดดีได้รับรางวัลโนเบลสาขาเคมีในปี ค.ศ. 1921 แอ่งบนดวงจันทร์แห่งหนึ่งบนด้านไกลของดวงจันทร์ ตั้งชื่อว่าแอ่งซอดดี เพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่เขา
