นกกระตั้วดำ (อังกฤษ : Black cockatoo, Dark cockatoo ) เป็นสกุล ของนกปากขอ ขนาดใหญ่ ในวงศ์นกกระตั้ว (Cacatuidae) ใช้ชื่อสกุลว่า Calyptorhynchus
สกุลนี้บรรยายทางวิทยาศาสตร์โดยนักธรรมชาติวิทยา ชาวฝรั่งเศส อองเซลเม่ เกต็อง เดมาไรซ์ ในปี ค.ศ. 1826 พบทั้งหมด 5 ชนิด ทั้งหมดส่วนใหญ่มีขนสีทึบทึมเช่น สีเทา หรือสีน้ำตาล เข้ม และการอนุกรมวิธาน จะพิจารณาตามตามขนาดและบางส่วนของขนขนาดเล็กสีแดง, สีเทา และสีเหลืองโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในขนหาง จัดได้ว่ามีลักษณะทางพันธุกรรมที่ใกล้เคียงกับนกกระตั้วแก๊ง-แก๊ง (Callocephalon fimbriatum ) และนกคอกคาเทล (Nymphicus hollandicus ) ซึ่งมีขนาดเล็กกว่ามาก
ถือได้ว่าเป็นสกุลที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดของนกกระตั้วที่มิได้มีขนสีขาว และแบ่งออกได้เป็น 2 สกุลย่อย คือ Calyptorhynchus และ Zanda โดยพิจารณาจากสีขนและความแตกต่างกันระหว่างเพศ
