วงศ์เฟินต้น หรือ Cyatheaceae เป็นวงศ์ของเฟินต้น จัดเป็นกลุ่มของเฟินที่โบราณมาก พบเป็นซากฟอสซิลตั้งแต่ยุคจูราสสิกตอนปลาย โดยสกุลที่ใหม่ที่สุดพบในยุคเซโนโซอิก วงศ์เฟินต้นเป็นวงศ์ของเฟินต้นที่ใหญ่ที่สุด มีสมาชิก 500 ชนิด วงศ์เฟินต้นและ Dicksoniaceae พร้อมทั้ง Metaxyaceae และ Cibotiaceae เป็นกลุ่มของวงศ์ที่มีความใกล้เคียงทางพันธุกรรม รวมเรียกว่า "core tree ferns" วงศ์เฟินต้นเป็น leptosporangiate fernsเป็นกลุ่มที่ใกล้เคียงที่สุดกับ monilophytes.
