ไรน้ำนางฟ้า (อังกฤษ : Fairy shrimp ) เป็นครัสเตเชียน จำพวกแบรงคิโอโพดาจำพวกหนึ่ง จัดอยู่ในสกุล Streptocephalus และวงศ์ Streptocephalidae มีลักษณะคล้ายไรทะเล หรืออาร์ทีเมีย แต่มีขนาดตัวโตกว่า คือ ไม่มีเปลือก ตัวใส มีขาว่ายน้ำ 11 คู่ ลำตัวยาว 1 - 3 เซนติเมตร ตัวผู้มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าตัวเมีย และมีพฤติกรรมว่ายน้ำแบบหงายท้องโดยใช้ขาช่วยกรรเชียงนำโบก พัดอาหารเข้าปาก บริเวณหัวมีตาขนาดใหญ่ที่มีก้านยาว 1 คู่ มีหนวด 2 คู่ ส่วนหางแยกเป็นสองแฉกมีสีแดงส้ม ตัวเมียมีถุงไข่ 1 ถุง อยู่ทางด้านท้อง หนวดคู่ที่ 2 ของตัวผู้เปลี่ยนแปลงไปใช้สำหรับจับตัวเมียเวลาผสมพันธุ์ และใช้ในการจำแนกชนิด ไข่ที่ตัวเมียสร้างขึ้นจะพัฒนาให้มีเปลือกหนา
ไรน้ำนางฟ้า จะอาศัยอยู่ในแหล่งน้ำจืดต่าง ๆ ที่มีขนาดเล็ก เช่น คูน้ำข้างถนน หรือนาข้าว แม้กระทั่งแหล่งน้ำชั่วคราว เช่น ปลักควาย หรือรอยเท้าควายในเลน ยามฤดูฝน อาหารของไรน้ำนางฟ้า ได้แก่ แพลงก์ตอนสัตว์, โปรโตซัว, อินทรียสารและแพลงก์ตอนพืช ฤดูที่พบ คือ ช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ถึงสิงหาคม คือ ในฤดูฝน วงจรชีวิต คือ ไข่มีเปลือกหนา เป็นซีส ฝังอยู่ในพื้นดินหรือโคลน โดยจะพบในบ่อเล็กบ่อน้อย เมื่อน้ำท่วมขังก็จะฟักเป็นตัวออกมา ส่วนแหล่งน้ำขนาดใหญ่จะไม่พบไรน้ำนางฟ้า ไรน้ำนางฟ้าจะมีชีวิตอยู่ได้ในระยะเวลาสั้น ๆ ไม่กี่สัปดาห์เท่านั้น
ไรน้ำนางฟ้า แบ่งออกได้ราว ๆ 50-60 ชนิด (ดูเนื้อหาข้างล่าง) พบกระจายพันธุ์ตั้งแต่ แอฟริกา , ออสเตรเลีย , ยูเรเชีย , อเมริกากลาง และอเมริกาเหนือ ซึ่งเดิมเคยเป็นมหาทวีปกอนด์วานา เป็นต้น ส่วนในประเทศไทย มีทั้งหมด 3 ชนิด ซึ่งทั้ง 3 ชนิดนั้น ล้วนแต่เป็นสัตว์เฉพาะถิ่น ทั้งหมด ได้แก่ ไรน้ำนางฟ้าสิรินทร (Streptocephalus sirindhornae ) พบครั้งแรกที่จังหวัดหนองบัวลำภู และพบได้ทั่วประเทศ, ไรน้ำนางฟ้าไทย (Branchinella thailandensis ) มิได้จัดอยู่ในสกุล Streptocephalus ไข่มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าไรน้ำนางฟ้าสิรินธรสองเท่า และไรน้ำนางฟ้าสยาม (Streptocephalus siamensis ) พบครั้งแรกที่จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี และกาญจนบุรี เป็นชนิดที่หาได้ยากมาก นอกจากนี้แล้วยังพบได้ที่ประเทศลาว
ไรน้ำนางฟ้า มีคุณค่าทางสารอาหารสูง ปัจจุบันได้มีการเพาะเลี้ยงเพื่อเป็นอาหารให้แก่สัตว์น้ำต่าง ๆ ทั้งเป็นอาหารให้แก่ตัวอ่อน, เป็นอาหารให้แก่สัตว์น้ำเศรษฐกิจ และสัตว์น้ำสวยงาม โดยปัจจุบันสามารถเพาะเลี้ยงได้แล้วตลอดทั้งปี
นอกจากนี้แล้ว ไรน้ำนางฟ้ายังมีชื่อเรียกตามภาษาถิ่นต่าง ๆ เช่น "แมงอ่อนช้อย", "แมงแงว", "แมงหางแดง" และ"แมงน้ำฝน" เป็นต้น
