ทอมัส โคล

ทอมัส โคล (อังกฤษ: Thomas Cole) (1 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1801 - 11 กุมภาพันธ์ ค.ศ. 1848) เป็นจิตรกรอเมริกันที่เกิดในอังกฤษผู้เป็นผู้ก่อตั้งตระกูลการเขียนแบบลุ่มแม่น้ำฮัดสันซึ่งเป็นขบวนการทางจิตรกรรมอันสำคัญขบวนการหนึ่งของประวัติศาสตร์การเขียนภาพในสหรัฐอเมริกาที่รุ่งเรืองอยู่ราวระหว่างกลางคริสต์ศตวรรษที่ 19 จุดเด่นของงานเขียนของโคลในรูปแบบการเขียนแบบลุ่มแม่น้ำฮัดสันและงานของตนเองอยู่ที่ความเป็นสัจจะและรายละเอียดของภูมิทัศน์และป่าเขาของสหรัฐอเมริกาตามแนวเขียนแบบศิลปะจินตนิยม และ ศิลปะธรรมชาตินิยม
