ข้อถกเถียงเรื่องวัคซีน

ความลังเลในการรับวัคซีน (อังกฤษ: vaccine hesitancy) หมายถีงความลังเลไม่แน่ใจ หรือการต่อต้านการรับวัคซีน และรวมไปถึงการลังเลหรือต่อต้านไม่ให้เด็กในความดูแลของตัวเองรับวัคซีนด้วย องค์การอนามัยโลกได้ประกาศเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2562 ว่าความลังเลในการรับวัคซีนเป็นภัยคุกคามระดับโลกทางสาธารณสุขในสิบอันดับแรก ข้อถกเถียงใดๆ ที่ต่อต้านการเสริมภูมิคุ้มกันด้วยวัคซีนนั้นถูกแย้งตกไปหมดแล้วด้วยหลักฐานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ซึ่งมีความเห็นพ้องกันอย่างท่วมท้นว่าวัคซีนมีความปลอดภัยและมีประสิทธิภาพ

ความลังเลนี้เป็นผลมาจากการถกเถียงกันในสังคมเกี่ยวกับประเด็นต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการให้วัคซีน ทั้งทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์ ด้านจริยธรรม และด้านกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง ความลังเลนี้มีมาตั้งแต่สมัยที่มีการคิดค้นวัคซีนขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก และมีขึ้นมาตั้งแต่ก่อนจะมีคำว่าวัคซีนถึงประมาณ 80 ปี สมมติฐานที่ถูกยกขึ้นมาเป็นเหตุผลโดยกลุ่มต่อต้านการใช้วัคซีนนั้นแตกต่างไปตามแต่ยุคสมัย การลังเลที่จะรับวัคซีนนี้บ่อยครั้งกลายเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญที่ทำให้เกิดการระบาดของโรคที่ป้องกันได้ด้วยวัคซีน และทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต

มีการเสนอข้อกฎหมายที่สนับสนุนการบังคับให้บุคคลต้องรับวัคซีนอยู่เป็นระยะๆ ตัวอย่างเช่น California Senate Bill 277 ของรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย และโครงการ No Jab No Pay ของประเทศออสเตรเลีย ทั้งหมดนี้ล้วนถูกคัดค้านอย่างต่อเนื่องโดยกลุ่มนักเคลื่อนไหวต่อต้านการใช้วัคซีน ซึ่งอาจออกมาเคลื่อนไหวต่อต้านการบังคับให้รับวัคซีนด้วยเหตุผลเกี่ยวกับผลเสียของการใช้วัคซีน ต่อต้านด้วยเหตุผลเกี่ยวกับสิทธิเสรีภาพ หรือต้องการลดความน่าเชื่อถือของการใช้วัคซีนในสายตาของสังคมส่วนใหญ่ก็ได้
