การหนีภาษี (อังกฤษ : tax evasion ) เป็นคำทั่วไป ใช้หมายถึง ความพยายามของบุคคล นิติบุคคล ทรัสต์ หรือองค์กรอื่นในอันที่จะหลบหลีกการชำระภาษีด้วยวิธีการซึ่งมิชอบด้วยกฎหมาย ปรกติแล้ว ในการหนีภาษี ผู้ชำระภาษีมักจงใจสำแดงเท็จหรือปกปิดซึ่งทรัพย์สินและหนี้สินที่แท้จริงของตนต่อเจ้าพนักงานภาษี เพื่อจะได้ลดความรับผิดทางภาษีของตน และในบางกรณี ผู้ชำระภาษียังรายงานภาษีโดยไม่สุจริตด้วย เช่น เปิดเผยเงินได้ กำไร หรือรายได้น้อยกว่าจริง หรือคำนวณการหักลบทางภาษีเกินจริง
