ในทางดาราศาสตร์ ดุมดาราจักร (อังกฤษ: Galactic bulge) คือส่วนที่มีดาวฤกษ์เกาะกลุ่มกันอยู่อย่างหนาแน่นที่สุดในดาราจักร มักใช้ในความหมายถึงกลุ่มดาวฤกษ์ใจกลางดาราจักรที่พบในดาราจักรชนิดก้นหอยโดยส่วนใหญ่ แต่เดิมเคยเชื่อกันว่าดุมดาราจักรนี้เป็นดาราจักรชนิดรีที่มีจานดาวฤกษ์อยู่รอบๆ แต่จากภาพถ่ายความละเอียดสูงโดยกล้องโทรทรรศน์อวกาศฮับเบิลได้เผยให้ทราบว่า ดุมดาราจักรจำนวนมากมีคุณลักษณะที่คล้ายคลึงกับดาราจักรชนิดก้นหอยมากกว่า ในปัจจุบันนี้เชื่อกันว่า มีดุมดาราจักรอยู่อย่างน้อย 2 ชนิด คือชนิดที่มีลักษณะเหมือนดาราจักรชนิดรี กับชนิดที่มีลักษณะเหมือนดาราจักรชนิดก้นหอย

ดุมดาราจักรแบบดั้งเดิม (classical bulge) จะมีลักษณะคล้ายดาราจักรชนิดรี มักประกอบด้วยดาวฤกษ์ชนิดดารากร 2 ซึ่งเก่าแก่กว่า และมีสีค่อนไปทางแดง การเคลื่อนที่ของดาวฤกษ์ในดุมชนิดนี้มักเป็นไปแบบไม่เป็นระเบียบ ส่วนดุมดาราจักรที่มีลักษณะคล้ายดาราจักรชนิดก้นหอยจะมีอยู่เป็นจำนวนมากกว่า และจะเรียกว่า pseudobulges หรือ disky-bulges ดาวฤกษ์จะเคลื่อนที่แบบเป็นระเบียบไปตามทิศทางของระนาบดาราจักรหรือแผ่นจานดาราจักรด้านนอก
