นกเค้าใหญ่แวโร หรือ นกเค้าใหญ่ยักษ์ (อังกฤษ : Verreaux's eagle-owl, Giant eagle owl ; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ : Bubo lacteus ) นกล่าเหยื่อชนิดหนึ่ง จำพวกนกเค้าแมว จัดอยู่ในวงศ์นกเค้าแมว (Strigidae)
นกเค้าใหญ่แวโร ได้ชื่อมาจากนักธรรมชาติวิทยาชาวฝรั่งเศส ฌูล แวโร
จัดเป็นนกเค้าขนาดใหญ่ และเป็นนกเค้าแมวที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในโลกเป็นอันดับสองรองมาจากนกเค้าใหญ่ยูเรเชีย (B. bubo ) มีลำตัวยาวประมาณ 66 เซนติเมตร น้ำหนักกว่า 3.11 กิโลกรัม เมื่อกางออกปีกออกแล้วยาวได้กว่า 140 เซนติเมตร ตัวผู้มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าตัวเมีย มีใบหน้าที่มีลักษณะกับใบหน้ามนุษย์มากที่สุด
พบกระจายพันธุ์ในทวีปแอฟริกา ตั้งแต่ซับสะฮารา พบได้ในทะเลทรายนามิบ ในประเทศนามิเบีย พบได้ในป่าฝน พบได้ในเขตอนุรักษ์แห่งชาติแซมบูรู ในประเทศเคนยา และพบได้ในที่ที่มีความสูงจากระดับน้ำทะเลถึง 3,000 เมตร (9,800 ฟุต)
เป็นนกที่หากินในเวลากลางคืน โดยล่าเหยื่อเช่น นกและหนูขนาดเล็ก, กิ้งก่า, กบ, แมลงปีกแข็ง และแมลงชนิดต่าง ๆ มีเสียงร้อง กว๊อก, กว๊อก, กว๊อก-กว๊อกกกกกกกก กว๊อกกกกกกกก กว๊อน ในขณะที่ตัวเมียก็ส่งเสียงร้องคล้ายกันแต่มีเสียงที่แหลมสูงกว่า
