อินโดเมตทาซินเป็นอนุพันธ์ของอินโดล เมตทิเลเตด และเป็น เอ็นเซด กลุ่ม อะริลอัลคาโนอิก แอซิด

ข้อบ่งใช้

อินโดเมตทาซิน ใช้รักษาโรคได้ดังนี้:

• แอนไคโลซิง สปอนไดลิติส (ankylosing spondylitis)
• รูมาตอยด์ อาร์ทริติส (rheumatoid arthritis)
• อาร์ทริติก เกาต์ (arthritic gout)
• ออสทิโออาร์ทริติส (osteoarthritis)
• จูวิไนล์ อาร์ทริติส (juvenile arthritis)
• พซอเรียติก อาร์ทริติส (psoriatic arthritis)
• กลุ่มอาการ ไรเตอร์ (Reiter's syndrome)
• โรคกระดูก ปาเจต (Paget's disease of bone)
• โรค บาร์ตเตอร์ (Bartter's disease)
• เกาต์เทียม (pseudogout)
• อาการปวดระดู (dysmenorrhea)
• เพอริคาร์ดิติส (pericarditis)
• เบอซิติส (bursitis)
• เทนดินิติส (tendinitis)
• ไข้ และ ปวด

ข้อห้ามใช้

• ผู้ป่วยที่มีแผลในลำไส้
• ผู้ป่วยที่มีประวัติการแพ้ยา อินโดเมตทาซิน แอสไพริน หรือ เอ็นเซดตัวอื่นๆ
• เด็กที่อายุต่ำกว่า 2 ขวบ
• ผู้ป่วยที่ตับและไตถูกทำลาย
• ระวังในผู้ป่วยไขกระดูกถูกทำลาย
• ระวังในผู้ป่วยที่เป็นโรคปาร์กินสัน ลมชัก โรคจิต

รูปแบบยาที่ใช้ (Usual Dosage Forms)

• ยาเม็ด หรือ แคปซูล 25 and 50 มก.
• ยาเหน็บ 50 และ 100 มก.
• เอสอาร์ แคปซูล 75มก.
• น้ำเชื่อม (25มก./5มล)
• ยาฉีด 50 มก. (ฉีดเข้ากล้ามเนื้อ)
• สเปรย์ หรือ เจล

ประวัติ

อินโดเมตทาซิน ถูกค้นพบในปี 1963และอนุมัติให้ใช้ได้โดย ในปี 1965 กลไกการออกฤทธ์เหมือนยาในกลุ่ม เอ็นเซดคือยับยั้ง COX
