กุ้งดีดขัน หรือ กุ้งกระเตาะ (อังกฤษ : Snapping shrimps ) เป็นครัสเตเชียน จำพวกหนึ่งในวงศ์ Alpheidae จัดเป็นกุ้งขนาดเล็ก ลำตัวใส ส่วนหัวมีขนาดใหญ่เรียวเล็กลงไปถึงหาง นัยน์ตาเล็กและมีหนวดยาว มีก้ามใหญ่โต โดยเฉพาะข้างหนึ่งจะใหญ่กว่าอีกข้างหนึ่ง มีความสามารถงับก้ามทำให้เกิดเสียงดัง "แป๋ง ๆ " โดยเฉพาะเมื่อกระทบขันน้ำโลหะ เสียงจะดังยิ่งขึ้น จึงได้ชื่อว่า "กุ้งดีดขัน" ซึ่งการที่ทำแบบนี้ได้ก็เพื่อทำให้ศัตรูตกใจ จากนั้นจะใช้ก้ามอีกข้างหนึ่งที่เล็กกว่าบีบน้ำ ใส่หน้าของศัตรูแล้วหนีไป มีพฤติกรรมชอบหลบซ่อนอยู่ตามซอกวัสดุต่าง ๆ ริมฝั่งทั้งในน้ำเค็มและน้ำกร่อย และในน้ำจืดบางชนิด ซึ่งบางครั้งพบได้ในท้องร่องสวนบางที่ หรือตามลำห้วยที่ไหลมาจากน้ำตกได้อีกด้วย
แรงดันของน้ำที่เกิดจากก้ามของกุ้งดีดขันมีมากได้ถึง 80 kPa ในรัศมี 4 เซนติเมตร ซึ่งมีความรุนแรงที่ทำให้ปลาตัวเล็ก ๆ ช็อกตายได้ และเสียงจากการกระทำดังนี้มีความดังถึง 218 dB/µPa/m (เดซิเบล/ไมโครปาสคาล/เมตร) เมื่อเทียบกับเสียงของน้ำตกไนแองการา ซึ่งดังเพียง 90 dB เสียงในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมดังเพียง 80 dB เสียงพูดคุยปกติธรรมดา 30 dB นับว่ากุ้งดีดขันสามารถทำเสียงได้ดังกว่า
มีทั้งหมด 45 สกุล ชนิดที่พบเจอบ่อย ๆ ได้แก่ Alpheus microrhynchus ซึ่งพบในน้ำจืด และ A. digitalis เป็นต้น เฉพาะสกุล Alpheus นั้นพบในประเทศไทย ทั้งหมด 35 ชนิด โดยพบในอ่าวไทย 8 ชนิด ทะเลอันดามัน 5 ชนิด และพบทั้งสองฟากทะเล 22 ชนิด
กุ้งดีดขันมีความสำคัญในแง่ของการประมง ที่บังกลาเทศ , ญี่ปุ่น , ออสเตรเลีย ตอนเหนือ นิยมนำมารับประทาน และยังนิยมทำเป็นเหยื่อตกปลา อีกด้วย นอกจากนี้แล้วจากความสามารถที่ทำเสียงดังได้ ทำให้กุ้งดีดขันมักถูกจับมาขายเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยงสวยงาม ซึ่งชนิดที่มักถูกจับมาขายเป็นสัตว์เลี้ยง คือ A. cyanoteles ซึ่งเป็นชนิดที่พบได้ในน้ำจืดสนิท
