จักรวรรดินิยมอเมริกา

จักรวรรดินิยมอเมริกา (อังกฤษ: American imperialism) เป็นคำเรียกของการการคุมนโยบายการทหาร,เศรษฐกิจ และ วัฒนธรรมโดยสหรัฐที่แผ่ขยายอำนาจ, ก่อตั้งและควบคุมรัฐบริวาร คำว่า จักรวรรดินิยมอเมริกาถูกใช้ครั้งแรกโดยประธานาธิบดีสหรัฐ เจมส์ เค. โพล์ก เมื่อสหรัฐเข้าร่วม สงครามเม็กซิโก–อเมริกา ในปี 1846, การผนวกแคลิฟอร์เนียและดินแดนตะวันตกตาม Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo และ Gadsden purchase.
