ปลาน้ำหมึก (อังกฤษ: Stream barilius) เป็นปลาน้ำจืดชนิดหนึ่ง มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Opsarius pulchellus อยู่ในวงศ์ปลาตะเพียน (Cyprinidae) รูปร่างคล้ายปลาน้ำหมึกโคราช (O. koratensis) ซึ่งเป็นปลาในสกุลเดียวกัน ต่างกันที่น้ำหมึกมีลำตัวที่ป้อมสั้นกว่า ปลายปากป้าน มีสีสันที่สดใสกว่าและลายขีดข้างลำตัวใหญ่และชัดเจนกว่า เกล็ดมีขนาดใหญ่กว่า ครีบหลังมีแต้มสีแดงเห็นชัดเจน มีขนาดประมาณ 10 เซนติเมตร
พบอาศัยอยู่ในแม่น้ำสายใหญ่และลำธารในป่าและเชิงเขาที่น้ำสะอาดไหลแรงที่ภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย พบในแม่น้ำโขงด้วย แต่ไม่พบในแม่น้ำสาละวิน มีพฤติกรรมมักแย่งชิงตัวเมียกันในฤดูผสมพันธุ์ โดยปลาตัวผู้จะใช้หัวและลำตัวฟาดคู่ต่อสู้ บริเวณส่วนหัวจะมีตุ่มขึ้นในฤดูนี้
