เตาฮีด (อาหรับ: توحيد‎ หมายถึง "ความเป็นอันเดียวกันหรือความเป็นเอกะของพระเป็นเจ้าในศาสนาอิสลาม (อาหรับ: الله‎, อัลลอฮ์)") เป็นแนวคิดความเป็นเอกะต่อสิ่งที่มองไม่เห็นตามหลักเอกเทวนิยมในศาสนาอิสลาม เตาฮีดเป็นศูนย์กลางและแนวคิดสำคัญที่สุดของศาสนา ซึ่งการยึดมั่นมุสลิมทั้งหมด หลักการนี้มีอย่างแจ่มแจ้งว่าพระเป็นเจ้าในศาสนาอิสลาม (الله, อัลลอฮ์) มีแค่องค์เดียว (อัลอะฮัด) และเป็นเอกะ (อัลวาฮิด)

เตาฮีดถือเป็นหลักสำคัญที่สุดในการยอมรับความนับถือของมุสลิม ส่วนแรกคือชะฮาดะฮ์ (การประกาศความเชื่อศาสนาอิสลาม) เป็นการประกาศความเชื่อในความเป็นเอกะของพระเจ้า การให้สิ่งใดหรือใครก็ตามเป็นพระเจ้า ถือเป็น ชิรก์ – ถ้าผู้กระทำไม่ได้ขออภัยโทษในภายหลัง ตามอัลกุรอานแล้วเป็นบาปที่อภัยไม่ได้ มุสลิมเชื่อว่าหลักคำสอนอิสลามทั้งหมดมาจากหลักการเตาฮีด

จากจุดยืนของศาสนาอิสลามที่เป็นเอกเทวนิยมอย่างแน่วแน่ในใจความหลักของความเชื่อในอิสลาม (อะกีดะฮ์) ซึ่งแยกศาสนาอิสลามจากศาสนาส่วนใหญ่ ที่มากไปกว่านั้น หลักเตาฮีดไม่ใช้แค่ห้ามมุสลิมสักการะพระเจ้าหลายองค์เท่านั้น แต่ยังสละความต้องการเงิน สถานะทางสังคม หรืออัตตานิยมด้วย

ในอัลกุรอานยืนยันถึงการมีตัวตนของสิ่งเดียวและเป็นความจริงที่อยู่เหนือโลก สิ่งที่ไม่เหมือนใคร, มีอิสระ และไม่สามารถแบ่งแยกได้ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า ในศาสนาอิสลาม เป็นพระเจ้าแห่งสากลโลกมากกว่าพระเจ้าในท้องที่, ชนเผ่า หรือเขตทางศาสนา—พระเจ้าเป็นผู้ที่สมบูรณ์แบบและไม่ยอมรับความชั่วใด ๆ ทั้งสิ้น (brooks no evil)
