โรคไตเรื้อรัง

โรคไตเรื้อรังคือภาวะซึ่งค่อยๆ มีการเสื่อมของการทำงานของไตเป็นเวลานาน อาจใช้เวลาเป็นเดือนหรือเป็นปี ในช่วงแรกมักไม่มีอาการ หรือมีอาการซึ่งไม่มีความจำเพาะ อาจมีอาการเพียงความรู้สึกไม่สบายตัวหรือไม่รู้สึกอยากอาหารได้ ภาวะแทรกซ้อนที่สำคัญได้แก่ โรคระบบหัวใจหลอดเลือด ความดันเลือดสูง โรคกระดูก และโลหิตจาง
