CYP3A7

ไซโทโครม P450 3A7 (อังกฤษ: Cytochrome P450 3A7; ชื่อย่อ: CYP3A7; EC 1.14.14.1) เป็นเอนไซม์ในมหาสกุลไซโทโครม P450 ประกอบด้วยกรดอะมิโนจำนวน 503 ตัว มีขนาดคิดเป็นร้อยละ 87 ของ CYP3A4 มีบทบาทสำคัญในระบบการเปลี่ยนแปลงยา (biotransformation system) ของตัวอ่อนระยะฟีตัสของมนุษย์ โดยจะทำหน้าที่คล้ายคลึงกับ CYP3A4 ในผู้ใหญ่ โปรตีน CYP3A7 ของมนุษย์จะถูกเข้ารหัสโดยยีน CYP3A7 ซึ่งยีนนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกลุ่มยีน cytochrome P₄₅₀ บน โครโมโซมคู่ที่ 7 โลคัส 7q22.1

ทั้งนี้ เอนไซม์ในตระกูลย่อย CYP3A ซึ่งรวมถึง CYP3A7 จัดเป็นกลุ่มเอนไซม์ที่มีการแสดงออกมากที่สุดในบรรดาเอนไซม์มหาสกุลไซโทโครม P450 ที่ตับ โดยเอนไซม์ CYP3A นี้จะทำหน้าที่เมแทบอไลซ์ยาต่างๆที่ใช้ในการป้องกันและบำบัดรักษาโรคในปัจจุบันได้มากกว่าร้อยละ 50

อัลลีลที่สำคัญ

อัลลีล CYP3A7*1C มีความสัมพันธ์การเกิดผลการรักษาที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ในผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งบางชนิด ทั้งนี้เป็นไปได้ว่าปรากฏการณ์ดังกล่าวอาจเกิดจากผลของเอนไซม์ต่อยาเคมีบำบัดบางชนิด
