Muller glia หรือ Muller cells เป็นเซลล์เกลีย ที่พบในเรตินา ของสัตว์มีกระดูกสันหลัง เป็นเซลล์ ที่ช่วยสนับสนุนเซลล์อื่น ๆ ซึ่งคล้ายกับเซลล์เกลียในที่อื่น ๆ แต่ว่า มีการพบในปลาม้าลาย ว่า ถ้าเกิดความเสียหายที่เรตินา จะมีการเปลี่ยนสภาพแบบถดถอย (dedifferentiation) ไปเป็นเซลล์ต้นกำเนิด (progenitor cell) ซึ่งก็จะสามารถแบ่งตัวและเจริญพัฒนาไปเป็นเซลล์เรตินาแบบเฉพาะอย่างอื่น ๆ ได้ รวมกระทั่งแม้แต่เซลล์รับแสง (photoreceptor cell) ซึ่งอาจมีความเสียหาย นอกจากนั้นแล้ว งานวิจัยอื่น ๆ ยังพบอีกด้วยว่า ในสัตว์เลี้ยงลูกด้วยนม Muller glia ทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวนำแสงส่งต่อไปให้กับเซลล์รับแสงคือเซลล์รูปแท่ง และเซลล์รูปกรวย
