ปลาซิวข้าวสารญี่ปุ่น หรือ ปลาซิวข้าวสารจิ๋ว (อังกฤษ: Japanese rice fish, Japanese killifish; ญี่ปุ่น: メダカ; โรมะจิ: Medaka; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Oryzias latipes) เป็นปลาน้ำจืดขนาดเล็กชนิดหนึ่ง ในวงศ์ปลาซิวข้าวสาร ( Adrianichthyidae)
จัดเป็นปลาชนิดแรกที่ถูกค้นพบและศึกษาในวงศ์นี้ โดยพบในนาข้าวประเทศญี่ปุ่น อันเป็นที่มาของชื่อสามัญ "ปลาข้าวสาร" หรือ "ปลาซิวข้าวสาร" และถือเป็นชนิดต้นแบบของสกุล Oryzias ด้วย
เป็นปลาที่มีขนาดเล็ก ความยาวไม่เกิน 3 เซนติเมตร พบในแหล่งน้ำที่มีอุณหภูมิประมาณ 20 องศาเซลเซียส มีถิ่นกระจายพันธุ์ที่กว้างไกลมาก โดยพบได้ตั้งแต่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น, ยูเรเซีย, จีน, เกาหลี, ลาว และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือของไทย
