เดอะชาเม็น

เดอะชาเม็น (The Shamen) เป็นวงดนตรีจากแอเบอร์ดีน ประเทศสกอตแลนด์ เริ่มเมื่อปี 1985 โดย Colin Angus และ Will Sinnott มีอัลบัมแรกชื่อ Dropในปี 1987 อัลบัมต่อมาคือ In Gorbachev We Trust ใน 1989 2 อัลบัมนี้เป็นอัลบัมแนวออลเทอร์นาทิฟร็อก หลังจากนั้นก็มีสมาชิกใหม่คือ Richard West (Mr C) วงนี้ก็ได้เปลี่ยนเป็นดนตรีแดนซ์หลังจากได้ออกซิงเกิล "Move Any Mountain" และ "Ebeneezer Goode" ขึ้นชาร์ตอันดับ1 บนชาร์ตซิงเกิลแห่งสหราชอาณาจักร แล้วทำให้พวกเขาก้าวสู่กระแสนิยม ต่อมาในปี 1999 ก็ได้แตกวง
