ในทางเดินอาหาร ชั้นใต้เยื่อเมือก (อังกฤษ: Submucosa) เป็นชั้นของชั้นเนื้อเยื่อประสานแบบ dense connective tissue ซึ่งค้ำจุนชั้นเยื่อเมือก รวมทั้งเชื่อมชั้นเยื่อเมือกและกล้ามเนื้อเรียบที่อยู่ข้างใต้ (เส้นใยกล้ามเนื้อรอบวงอยู่ภายในกล้ามเนื้อตามยาว)
