ปลาตะเพียนลายมาเลย์ (ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ : Striuntius lineatus ) ปลาน้ำจืดขนาดเล็กชนิดหนึ่ง ในวงศ์ปลาตะเพียน (Cyprinidae)
จัดเป็นปลาเพียงชนิดเดียวเท่านั้นที่อยู่ในสกุล Striuntius โดยเป็นสกุลใหม่ที่ตั้งขึ้นมาเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2013 แทนที่สกุลเดิม คือ Puntius Striuntius มาจากภาษาละติน คำว่า "striatus" หมายถึง "ลาย" หรือ "ริ้ว" และคำว่า Puntius ซึ่งเป็นชื่อสกุลเดิม
มีลักษณะทั่วไปคล้ายกับปลาตะเพียนลาย (Desmopuntius johorensis ) ซึ่งเดิมเคยอยู่ร่วมสกุลเดียวกันมา แต่ม่ความแตกต่างกันคือ ปลาตะเพียนลายมาเลย์จะไม่มีหนวดที่มุมปาก (แต่ก็พบมีบางตัวที่มี แต่ก็เป็นหนวดคู่หลังที่มีความยาวสั้นมาก) ขอบท้ายของริมฝีปากจะไม่ม้วนเข้า นอกจากนี้แล้วตามลำตัวมีลายตามยาว 4-6 แถบ โดยลายดังกล่าวจะพบได้ทุกช่วงวัย ไม่เหมือนกับปลาตะเพียนลายจะมีลายตามยาวเมื่อเป็นปลาวัยโตแล้ว มีก้านครีบแข็งที่ครีบหลัง มีขอบเป็นซี่จักร เกล็ดมีลักษณะเป็นท่อในแนวเส้นข้างลำตัวประมาณ 25-28 เกล็ด
ปลาตะเพียนลายมาเลย์ มีความยาวเต็มที่ประมาณ 5.3 เซนติเมตร (2.1 นิ้ว) พบในบึงน้ำหรือหนองน้ำที่มีพืชน้ำขึ้นหนาแน่น และมีสภาพน้ำเป็นกรดอ่อน ๆ สีชาเช่น ป่าพรุ ในแหลมมลายู และอินโดนีเซีย เป็นปลาที่นิยมเลี้ยงเป็นปลาสวยงามเหมือนกับปลาชนิดอื่นที่มีความใกล้เคียงกัน
