ภาษาละติน (อังกฤษ: Latin; ละติน: latīnum, [laˈt̪iːnʊ̃] หรือ lingua latīna, [ˈlɪŋɡʷa laˈt̪iːna]) เป็นภาษาโบราณในภาษากลุ่มอินโด-ยูโรเปียน มีต้นกำเนิดในที่ราบลาติอูง (Latium) ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่รอบ ๆ กรุงโรม และได้ชื่อว่าเป็นภาษาทางการในการสื่อสารของจักรวรรดิโรมัน ต่อมาภาษาละตินได้ถูกกำหนดให้เป็นภาษาสื่อสารและในพิธีสวดของศาสนจักรโรมันคาทอลิก และยังเป็นภาษาที่ใช้โดยนักวิทยาศาสตร์ นักปรัชญา และนักเทววิทยาของยุโรป ตั้งแต่ตลอดยุคกลางจนมาถึงยุคสมัยใหม่ ภาษาละตินจึงเป็นภาษาต้นฉบับของงานเขียนที่ทรงคุณค่าทั้งทางประวัติศาสตร์ และทางวรรณกรรมเป็นจำนวนมาก

ภาษาอังกฤษได้รับคำในภาษาละตินเข้ามาในภาษาตนเป็นจำนวนมาก เนื่องจากอิทธิพลของเจ้าปกครองชาวแองโกล-นอร์มัน ซึ่งใช้ภาษาฝรั่งเศส นอกจากนี้คำศัพท์ที่ใช้ในสาขาวิทยาศาสตร์และการแพทย์ ล้วนเป็นคำศัพท์ภาษาละตินหรือสร้างจากภาษาละติน

ภาษาละตินเป็นภาษามีวิภัติปัจจัย (การผันคำ) มีการก 7 การก (case), มีเพศ 3 เพศ, และมีพจน์ 2 พจน์ ภาษาอื่น ๆ อีกหลายภาษาที่ใช้ในปัจจุบัน พัฒนาสืบต่อมาจากภาษาละตินพื้นบ้าน ซึ่งจะเรียกกลุ่มภาษาเหล่านี้ว่า ภาษากลุ่มโรมานซ์ ภาษาที่อยู่ในกลุ่มภาษาโรมานซ์ที่สำคัญได้แก่ ภาษาฝรั่งเศส ภาษาโรมาเนีย ภาษาอิตาลี ภาษาโปรตุเกส และภาษาสเปน ภาษาส่วนใหญ่ในภาษากลุ่มอินโด-ยูโรเปียนก็มีความสัมพันธ์บางอย่างกับภาษาละติน

จูเลียส ซีซาร์ บันทึกเหตุการณ์สงครามแกลลิค เป็นหนังสือภาษาละตินที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดเล่มหนึ่งในช่วงยุคทองของภาษาละติน เขียนขึ้นในสไตล์ที่ไม่ขัดเกลา และตรงไปตรงมาของการรายงานเหตุการณ์อย่างนักวารสาร และเป็นต้นแบบของการใช้ภาษาละตินในสาธารณรัฐโรมัน
