บะมอ (พม่า : ဗန်းမော် ) เป็นเมืองในรัฐกะชีน ประเทศพม่า ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนเหนือของประเทศ บนฝั่งแม่น้ำอิรวดี ตอนบน ห่างจากเมืองมยิจีนา ไปทางทิศใต้ 186 กิโลเมตร และห่างจากเขตแดนประเทศจีน (มณฑลยูนนาน ) ราว 65 กิโลเมตร ประชากรประกอบด้วยชาวจีน ไทใหญ่ รวมถึงชาวกะชีน ที่อาศัยอยู่บริเวณหุบเขาและในเมือง เป็นเมืองต้นทางการเดินเรือในแม่น้ำอิรวดีติดต่อกับย่างกุ้ง และอยู่บนเส้นทางถนนที่เชื่อมระหว่างภาคเหนือของพม่ากับมณฑลยูนนานของจีน
"บะมอ" มีที่มาจากคำว่า "ม่านหม่อ" (မၢၼ်ႈမေႃႇ ) ในภาษาไทใหญ่ ตรงกับคำว่า "บ้านหม้อ" ในภาษาไทย ซึ่งมีความหมายว่า "หมู่บ้านของช่างปั้นหม้อ"
