สงครามกลางเมืองซีซาร์

มหาสงครามกลางเมืองโรมัน (49–45 ปีก่อน ค.ศ.) หรือเรียก สงครามกลางเมืองซีซาร์ (อังกฤษ: Caesar's Civil War) เป็นความขัดแย้งทางการเมือง-การทหารหนึ่งในสาธารณรัฐโรมันก่อนการสถาปนาจักรวรรดิโรมัน สงครามนี้เริ่มจากการเผชิญหน้าทั้งทางการเมืองและการทหารหลายครั้งระหว่างจูเลียส ซีซาร์ ผู้สนับสนุนทางการเมืองของเขา (รู้จักกันอย่างกว้างขวางว่า Populare) และลีเจียน กับ Optimate (หรือ Boni) กลุ่มแยกอนุรักษนิยมทางการเมืองและประเพณีนิยมทางสังคมของวุฒิสภาโรมัน ผู้ได้รับการสนับสนุนโดยปอมปีย์กับลีเจียนของเขา
