เมฆแมเจลแลนเล็ก (อังกฤษ: Small Magellanic Cloud, SMC) เป็นดาราจักรแคระ แห่งหนึ่งในกลุ่มท้องถิ่น ถือเป็นหนึ่งในดาราจักรที่อยู่ใกล้ทางช้างเผือกมากที่สุดและสามารถมองเห็นได้ด้วยตาเปล่า โดยอยู่ห่างจากดาราจักรของเราประมาณ 200,000 ปีแสง มีดาวฤกษ์อยู่เป็นสมาชิกจำนวนหลายร้อยล้านดวง
บ้างเชื่อว่าเมฆแมเจลแลนเล็กเคยเป็นดาราจักรชนิดก้นหอยมีคานมาก่อน แต่ถูกรบกวนโดยทางช้างเผือกทำให้มันเสียรูปร่างไป แต่ก็ยังสามารถมองเห็นโครงสร้างรูปคานบริเวณตรงกลางได้บ้าง
เมฆแมเจลแลนเล็กมีค่าเดคลิเนชันเฉลี่ยถึง -73 องศา มันจึงสามารถมองเห็นได้จากด้านซีกโลกใต้หรือซีกโลกเหนือตอนล่างมาก ๆ เท่านั้น ตำแหน่งปรากฏบนฟ้าอยู่ใกล้กลุ่มดาวนกทูแคน เป็นแถบแสงหม่น ๆ กว้างประมาณ 3 องศาบนท้องฟ้า ดูราวกับเป็นชิ้นส่วนที่หลุดออกไปจากทางช้างเผือก
เมฆแมเจลแลนเล็กเป็นดาราจักรคู่กันกับเมฆแมเจลแลนใหญ่ ซึ่งอยู่ห่างออกไปทางตะวันออกประมาณ 20 องศา
