แมรี-หลุยส์ ปาร์กเกอร์

แมรี-หลุยส์ ปาร์กเกอร์ เกิดในเมือง Fort Jackson, เซาท์แคลโรไรนา สหรัฐอเมริกา เป็นลูกคนเล็กของพี่น้องสี่คน, แม่ของเธอ แคโรไลน์ หลุยส์ (สกุลเดิม Morell) พ่อ จอห์น มอร์แกน ปาร์กเกอร์ เป็นผู้พิพากษาที่เคยทำงานในกองทัพบกสหรัฐ  บรรพรุษของเธอ เป็นคนสวีเดน (จากปู่ของแม่) อังกฤษ สก๊อต สก๊อต-ไอริช เยอรมัน และดัทช์ เนื่องจากการทำงานพ่อของเธอ ปาร์กเกอร์ก็ได้ใช้เวลาในวัยเด็กใน เทนเนสซี แล้ะเท็กซัส และในประเทศไทย เยอรมนี และฝรั่งเศส เธอเล่าชีวิตวัยเด็กของเธอว่า "ไม่มีความสุขอย่างยิ่ง"  "พ่อแม่ของฉันทำทุกอย่างที่สามารถทำได้ ฉันมีทุกอย่าง หนังสือ เสื้อผ้า บ้าน และเตียงที่อบอุ่น แต่ไม่เคยมีความสุข" เธอเรียนจบจากโรงเรียนมัยมตอนปลาย Marcos de Niza ในเมือง Tempe, รัฐแอริโซนา ปาร์กเกอร์สำเร็จการศึกษา สาขาการละคร จากมหาวิทยาลัยนอร์ทแคโรไลนา ในปี 1986

ในช่วงปี 1997 จนถึงเดือนพฤศจิกายน ปี 2003 ปาร์กเกอร์เคยมีความสัมพันธ์กับนักแสดง Billy Crudup แต่เขาก็ทิ้งเธอไปหาแคลร์ เดนส์ ขณะที่เธอตั้งครรภ์ได้เจ็ดเดือนกับลูกของเขา, William Atticus Parker (เกิดในปี 2004) นักแสดง ซูเซิน ซาแรนดอน ให้เกียรติรับเป็นแม่อุปถัมภ์ให้กับลูกชายของเธอ

ในธันวาคม ปี 2006 ปาร์กเกอร์เริ่มเดทกับนักแสดง Jeffrey Dean Morgan ซึงพบกันที่กองถ่ายภาพยนตร์ Weeds ในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ปี 2008 เธอและมอร์แกนประกาศการหมั้น แต่ก็เลิกจากกันในเดือนเมษายน

ในกันยายน ปี 2007 ปาร์กเกอร์รับเลี้ยงเด็กบุญธรรม Caroline Aberash Parker จากเอธิโอเปีย

ในปี 2013 ปาร์กเกอร์ได้รับเกียรติจาก Hope North ซึ่งเป็นองค์การให้การศึกษาและการรักษาเด็กๆ จากสงครามกลางเมืองในอูกันดา ปาร์เกอร์เริ่มมีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับองค์กรดังกล่าวหลังจากได้พบปะกับอดีตเหยื่อคนหนึ่งจากสงครามกลางเมืองอูกันดา
