ภาษาพื้นเมือง (อังกฤษ : indigenous language ) หรือ ภาษาพื้นเพดั้งเดิม (อังกฤษ : autochthonous language ) เป็นภาษาซึ่งเกิดในท้องถิ่นในภูมิภาคหนึ่ง และคนพื้นเมืองใช้เจรจากัน ภาษาพื้นเมืองมาจากชุมชนที่มีความแตกต่างทางภาษาที่กำเนิดขึ้นในพื้นที่นั้น ทั้งนี้ ภาษาพื้นเมืองไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นภาษาประจำชาติ และภาษาประจำชาติไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นภาษาพื้นเมืองของประเทศนั้น ๆ ก็ได้
คนพื้นเมืองจำนวนมากทั่วโลกหยุดการถ่ายทอดภาษาบรรพบุรุษไปยังอนุชนและรับภาษาของคนส่วนใหญ่โดยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการปรับตัวให้เข้ากับวัฒนธรรมส่วนใหญ่ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ยังมีความพยายามฆ่า (linguicide) ภาษาพื้นเมืองหลายภาษาด้วย สหประชาชาติประกาศให้ปี 2562 เป็นปีสากลแห่งภาษาพื้นเมือง ด้วยตระหนักถึงความเปราะบางของภาษาพื้นเมือง
