ปลากะรังลายจุด หรือ ปลากะรังน้ำกร่อย (อังกฤษ: Brown spotted grouper, Estuary grouper, Malabar grouper, Greasy cod, Spotted river cod, Estuary rock cod; ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์: Epinephelus malabaricus) ปลาทะเลและปลาน้ำกร่อยขนาดใหญ่ชนิดหนึ่ง ในวงศ์ปลากะรัง (Serranidae)
มีรูปร่างทั่วไปคล้ายกับปลากะรังทั่วไป พบกระจายพันธุ์อยู่ทั่วไปในบริเวณชายฝั่งหรือปากแม่น้ำที่เป็นน้ำกร่อย ตั้งแต่ทะเลแดง, อินโด-แปซิฟิก จนถึงทะเลญี่ปุ่น และออสเตรเลีย กินปลาและสัตว์น้ำขนาดเล็กกว่าเป็นอาหาร
มีขนาดโตเต็มที่ได้มากกว่า 120 เซนติเมตร และมีน้ำหนักมากกว่า 150 กิโลกรัม นับเป็นปลาที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดชนิดหนึ่งในวงศ์นี้ โดยลูกปลาขนาดเล็กจะเลี้ยงตัวเองในบริเวณที่เป็นปากแม่น้ำหรือป่าชายเลน โดยปลาที่โตเต็มวัยจะผสมพันธุ์และวางไข่ในทะเล และที่สำคัญยังสามารถเปลี่ยนเพศได้อีกตามวัย โดยลูกปลาที่อยู่ในวัยไม่เกิน 3 ปี น้ำหนักตัวประมาณ 3 กิโลกรัม จะเป็นเพศเมียทั้งหมด และเมื่อเติบโตขึ้นมาจนน้ำหนักเกิน 7 กิโลกรัมขึ้นไป จะกลายเป็นเพศผู้ การผสมพันธุ์จะเกิดจากปลาเพศผู้ที่มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าปลาเพศเมีย
เป็นปลาเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญชนิดหนึ่ง ที่มีการนิยมเพาะเลี้ยงกันอย่างกว้างขวางในกระชังหรือบ่อดินริมทะเบหรือบริเวณน้ำกร่อยในหลายพื้นที่
