เหยี่ยวปลา (อังกฤษ : Fish-eagle, Fishing eagle ) เป็นสกุลของนกล่าเหยื่อ สกุลหนึ่ง ใช้ชื่อสกุลว่า Ichthyophaga เหยี่ยวปลา มีลักษณะคล้ายกับอินทรีหรือเหยี่ยวในสกุล Haliaeetus อนุทวีปอินเดีย และเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จนถึงซูลาเวซี มีลักษณะเด่น คือ ขนส่วนหัวเป็นสีเทา หน้าแข้งขาว เหยี่ยวปลาเล็กหัวเทามีน้ำหนักน้อยกว่าเหยี่ยวปลาใหญ่หัวเทาถึงครึ่งเท่าตัว
การจำแนก ทั้ง 2 ชนิด เป็นนกที่พบได้ในประเทศไทยทั้งคู่ เป็นนกล่าเหยื่อที่กินปลาเป็นอาหารหลัก จึงพบได้ตามริมน้ำขนาดใหญ่ เช่น บึง , ทะเลสาบน้ำจืด หรือแม่น้ำ แต่ก็พบได้เป็นบางครั้งในแหล่งน้ำที่เป็นน้ำกร่อยหรือไหลออกสู่ทะเล เช่น ปากแม่น้ำ หรือแนวชายฝั่ง
