เขตการค้าเสรีทวีปแอฟริกา

เขตการค้าเสรีทวีปแอฟริกา (อังกฤษ: African Continental Free Trade Agreement, ย่อ: AfCFTA) คือ ความตกลงการค้าซึ่งมีผลใช้บังคับระหว่างรัฐสมาชิกสหภาพแอฟริกา 27 ประเทศ ก่อตั้งโดย ความตกลงการค้าเสรีทวีปแอฟริกา ที่ลงนามในกรุงคิกาลี ประเทศรวันดา เมื่อวันที่ 21 มีนาคม 2561 จนถึงเดือนกรกฎาคม 2562 มีรัฐ 54 รัฐลงนามความตกลงฯ กำหนดให้ 22 ประเทศให้สัตยาบันก่อนความตกลงฯ มีผลใช้บังคับและเขตการค้าเสรีทวีปแอฟริกามีผล ความตกลงฯ ยังจะใช้เป็นองค์การรวมซึ่งจะมีการเพิ่มพิธีสารและภาคผนวก

การเจรจาดำเนินต่อในปี 2561 ด้วยระยะที่ 2 รวมทั้งนโยบายการแข่งขัน การลงทุนและสิทธิทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา จะมีการเสนอร่างต่อสมัชชาสหภาพแอฟริกาในเดือนมกราคม 2563

ประเทศเคนยาและกานาเป็นประเทศแรก ๆ ที่เก็บเอกสารให้สัตยาบันในวันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม 2561 หลังให้สัตยาบันผ่านรัฐสภาของประเทศนั้น ๆ แล้ว ด้วยการให้สัตยาบันของเซียร์ราลีโอนและสาธารณรัฐซาราวีในวันที่ 29 เมษายน 2562 ก็ถึงขีดเริ่มแบ่งรัฐให้สัตยาบัน 22 รัฐสำหรับให้มีเขตการค้าเสรีอย่างเป็นทางการแล้ว ผลจึงทำให้ความตกลงฯ มีผลใช้บังคับในวันที่ 30 พฤษภาคม 2562 ปัญหาที่สำคัญอย่างความตกลงสัมปทานการค้าและกฎประเทศที่มายังอยู่ระหว่างการเจรจา วันที่ 7 กรกฎาคม 2562 ในการประชุมสูงสุดในประเทศไนเจอร์ ความตกลงฯ เข้าสู่ระยะปฏิบัติการ
