เฮอร์แมน เมลวิลล์

เฮอร์แมน แมลวิลล์ (อังกฤษ: Herman Melville) (1 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2362 – 28 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2434) เป็นนักเขียนชาวอเมริกัน แต่งทั้งนวนิยาย เรื่องสั้น เรียงความ และบทกวี วรรณกรรมชิ้นเอกของเขาคือ โมบี-ดิก (Moby Dick) ซึ่งพิมพ์เผยแพร่ครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2394 เมื่อเฮอร์แมนมีอายุ 32 ปี
