ปลาน้ำหมึกยักษ์ หรือ ปลาชะนาก หรือ ปลาสะนาก (อังกฤษ : Trout carps ) ชื่อสกุล ของปลาน้ำจืด จำพวกหนึ่ง ในวงศ์ปลาตะเพียน (Cyprinidae) มีชื่อสกุลว่า Raiamas (/ไร-อา-มาส/) เดิมเคยจัดให้อยู่ในสกุล Barilius
มีรูปร่างโดยรวม คือ ลำตัวยาวทรงกระบอก หัวและปากแหลม ปากกว้างมาก มีปุ่มในปากล่าง มุมปากยาวเลยนัยน์ตา จะงอยปากล่างงุ้มคล้ายตะขอ ไม่มีหนวด เกล็ดเล็ก ลำตัวสีเงินวาว ข้างลำตัวมีจุดสีน้ำเงินเข้มที่ใหญ่กว่าเกล็ด หางเว้าเป็นแฉกลึก ในตัวผู้ มีตุ่มข้างแก้มคล้ายสิว แตกต่างจากตัวเมียโดยเฉพาะในฤดูผสมพันธุ์ และสีลำตัวก็จะเปลี่ยนไปเห็นได้ชัดเจน
เป็นปลาที่มีพฤติกรรมชอบอยู่รวมกันเป็นฝูง มีความปราดเปรียวว่องไวมาก อาศัยหากินอยู่ในระดับผิวน้ำและกลางน้ำ โดยล่าปลา ขนาดเล็กชนิดต่าง ๆ เป็นอาหาร ขนาดความยาวลำตัวสูงสุดราว 1 ฟุต

เป็นปลาที่ใช้บริโภคในท้องถิ่น นิยมตกเป็นเกมกีฬา และเลี้ยงเป็นปลาสวยงาม ด้วย
