ชาวอาเซอร์ไบจาน (อาเซอร์ไบจาน: Azərbaycanlılar) เป็นกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ที่ส่วนใหญ่มีถิ่นฐานอยู่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของประเทศอิหร่านและประเทศอาเซอร์ไบจาน ที่มักจะเรียกว่า “อเซอรี” (อาเซอร์ไบจาน: Azərilər) หรือ “อซารี” (อาหรับ: آذری‎) หรือ “อเซอรีเติร์ก” (อาเซอร์ไบจาน: Azəri türkləri) นอกจากนั้นยังมีที่ตั้งถิ่นฐานในบริเวณตั้งแต่คอเคซัสไปจนถึงที่ราบสูงอิหร่าน ชาวอาเซอร์ไบจานส่วนใหญ่นับถือศาสนาอิสลามนิกายชีอะฮ์ และสืบเชื้อสายมาจากกลุ่มชนหลายกลุ่มรวมทั้งกลุ่มชนอิหร่าน, กลุ่มชนคอเคซัส และกลุ่มชนเตอร์กิก
