ปลาปักเป้าหนามทุเรียน (อังกฤษ : Porcupinefishes, Balloonfishes ) เป็นสกุล ของปลากระดูกแข็ง ในอันดับปลาปักเป้า (Tetraodontiformes) ในวงศ์ปลาปักเป้าฟัน 2 ซี่ (Diodontidae) ใช้ชื่อสกุลว่า Diodon (/ได-โอ-ดอน/)
ปลาปักเป้าหนามทุเรียนนั้น มีรูปร่างคล้ายปลาปักเป้าทั่วไป แต่มีรูปร่างเพรียวยาว หนังหยาบหนา และมีหนามแข็งชี้ไปข้างท้ายลำตัวตลอดทั้งตัว ซึ่งหนามนี้จะตั้งแข็งตรงเมื่อพองตัวกลมคล้ายลูกบอล เพื่อใช้ในการป้องตัวตัวเองจากนักล่าขนาดใหญ่กว่าในธรรมชาติ เช่น ปลาฉลาม ครีบหางเป็นทรงกลม มีขนาดโตเต็มที่ประมาณ 60 เซนติเมตร
มีลักษณะเด่น คือ มีฟัน ที่แหลมคมจำนวน 2 ซี่ภายในช่องปากใช้สำหรับขบกัดสัตว์มีเปลือก ต่าง ๆ เป็นอาหาร เช่น กุ้ง , ปู , หอยฝาเดี่ยว หรือหอยสองฝา เป็นต้น
ปลาปักเป้าหนามทุเรียนมีลักษณะแตกต่างไปจากปลาปักเป้าสกุลอื่นในวงศ์เดียวกัน คือ ลักษณะของหนามบนลำตัว
มีทั้งหมด 5 ชนิด (ดูในเนื้อหา) กระจายพันธุ์ไปในทะเล และมหาสมุทร ต่าง ๆ ทั่วโลก เป็นปลาที่นิยมเลี้ยงเป็นปลาสวยงาม ตามบ้านหรือในพิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำ และนิยมนำมาสตัฟฟ์เป็นเครื่องประดับ โดยเฉพาะเมื่อยามพองตัว แต่ถือเป็นปลาที่มีอันตราย หากได้รับประทานเข้าไป เนื่องจากมีสารพิษชนิด เตโตรโดท็อกซิน และซิกัวเตราอย่างรุนแรง
