อนุทวีปอินเดีย

อนุทวีปอินเดีย (อังกฤษ: Indian subcontinent) เป็นพื้นที่ทางภูมิศาสตร์ในเอเชียใต้ ส่วนใหญ่ตั้งอยู่บนแผ่นอินเดีย ล้อมรอบด้วยมหาสมุทรอินเดียทางทิศใต้และเทือกเขาหิมาลัยทางทิศเหนือ ในเชิงภูมิศาสตร์แล้ว อนุทวีปอินเดียเกี่ยวเนื่องกับแผ่นดินส่วนที่แยกออกจากมหาทวีปกอนด์วานา และชนเข้ากับแผ่นยูเรเชีย เมื่อ 55 ล้านปีก่อน อนุทวีปอินเดียมักกำหนดคร่าว ๆ ว่าแบ่งออกจากทวีปเอเชียด้วยเทือกเขาฮินดูกูชทางตะวันตกและเทือกเขายะไข่ทางทิศตะวันออก

ในเชิงภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ อนุทวีปอินเดียประกอบด้วยบังกลาเทศ ภูฏาน อินเดีย มัลดีฟส์ เนปาล ปากีสถาน และศรีลังกา

บางครั้งคำว่า "อนุทวีปอินเดีย" อาจใช้สลับกับ "เอเชียใต้"ได้ และในบางครั้งมักสื่อความหมายใกล้เคียงกับชมพูทวีปในสมัยพุทธกาลอีกด้วย
